Connecting people - to prevent food waste. ( foodsavr.org) Everyday, supermarkets, bakeries and groceries throw away perishables from their store as it expires. What if you could pick up these goods at a discount a few hours before the store closes? Our app connects you to these stores, for you to buy their goods, those which are still edible, for a discount before the store closes. Shops and bakeries sign up to our platform and make a commitment to offer their perishables, spare dishes (any amount) at a discount of anywhere between 10-100%. They post the food items on our app along with the discount and a picture, around 2 hours before closing time, and this is broadcasted to all users. Users now have the address of the shop in question, and are free to hop over and pick up these goods at a discount, not only saving you money, but most importantly, the food itself
